Web technologies and new media design firm, is currently seeking a technical
writer to assist the frogfire DIGITAL, Inc. efforts. frogfire DIGITAL, Inc. is
looking for an individual responsible for preparation of operation and
maintenance manuals and technical publications. This person must be articulate and focused. Gathers technical information, prepares
written text, and coordinates layout and manual organization. Researches available development/engineering
information such as drawing, design reports, equipment and test
specifications. May also interview
engineers and other technical personnel.
Writes individualized copy of analytical, interpretive, documentary or
promotional literature. May direct work
of lower level writers and work closely with editors and illustrators. Work with creative
professionals in a government-based environment. This person provides consistent and inform written descriptions
of personal/ minicomputer generated reports in accordance with established
documentation procedures. Continually
monitors system changes to ascertain effects on system documentation. Participates in the development of
documentation standards. Ability to learn new
technology is incredibly important as is past production experience. We're
looking for a proven self-motivator. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED OF
APPLICANT: ·
Degree
or certificate in Computer Sciences or Journalism may be substituted for 2
years of experience ·
5 years
