Web technologies and new media design firm, is currently seeking an
installation technician to assist the frogfire DIGITAL, Inc. efforts. frogfire is looking for an
individual to support client technical areas.
This person has responsibility for providing one or more of the
following: Receiving instruction on the evaluation, analyzing,
and planning of the testing and installation of new or enhanced hardware and
software for microcomputers. Assist in
client training requirements in the use of hardware, software, and network
products, and develop the training applicable to those requirements; Configuring software interfaces for microcomputers to
be used in conjunction with other computer hardware and various systems such as
networks, CAD, digitizing devices, etc.; Identifying problems and resolving minor
hardware/software/network malfunctions; providing minor hardware maintenance
such as board replacement, cable switching, communications, assistance,
hardware replacement, installing CRTs, printers, etc.; and Performing preventive maintenance for hardware and
software such as equipment cleaning and vacuuming, cable/connection inspection,
software virus protection, and configuration integrity. Work with creative
professionals in a government-based environment. Ability to learn new technology is incredibly important as is
past production experience. We're looking for a proven self-motivator. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED OF
APPLICANT: ·
High
school graduate or equivalent ·
6
