Why are there three versions of the software?
We created three versions to meet the needs of clients of all sizes.
MV Express is designed for a small number of users with a modem connected to each computer.

MV Express+ is designed for larger clients who wish to use a modem pool.

MV Network is for very large clients who plan on running many transactions and wish to use TCP/IP for fast response times.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How long does it take to get everything running?
Assuming a member number has been established, MV Express can be up and running in a few minutes. MV Express+ can take a little longer to roll-out depending on your modem pool vendors software and hardware. For MV Network implementations, you should plan on 30 to 60 days to get all the networking in place and tested.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How should I use the ODBC database?
The ODBC database is provide to store responses from Equifax. This information can then be reviewed at a later date. You may even use your particular database software to write reports; i.e. sequel, access, etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why do I need Microsoft ODBC drivers?
We chose to utilize Microsoft's ODBC database drivers for maximum compatilibity and flexibility. Since many of our clients continue to use 16-bit Windows, we chose ODBC 2.0 to manage the database functionality.
