With Turnkey processing, Equifax owns merchant liability, approves and monitors risk, monitors pricing and provides customer service while the client shares in net profit. Online access to portfolios through The Access System allows clients to perform file maintenance using a personal computer. Clients communicate directly with the Equifax mainframe via a PC and modem to add new merchant accounts, order deposit plates and plastics and access merchant data.

• Electronic Draft Capture to receive instant authorization information at the point of sale and to transmit sales and credit date electronically to Equifax for processing.
• Batch processing (paper-based) to deposit merchant sales and credit slips at the bank to send to Equifax for processing and settlement.
• Voice and electronic authorization.
• Risk Management and Security Screening ensure compliance with MasterCard and Visa regulations and to identify fraudulent or suspicious merchant activity.
• Data entry to process all merchant information and monetary batches daily.
