International Managed Services

Each institution will determine which services to maintain in-house, and which to outsource to Equifax. Equifax offers a full line of managed services, both front end and back end.

Front end services include call center applications, customer service phone support and authorization referrals. Back end services include collections, payment processing, statement production, plastic production, report production and letter production.

Managed Services allow an institution to issue payment cards without the hassle of maintaining a large data processing center or acquiring costly equipment. Equifax offers these services a la carte, allowing each customer to select the combination of options that best suites his needs. Core services are required to use managed services; additional services may also be used with core and managed services.

Managed services include:

  • Applications
Equifax will support applications for credit either via the Customer Service Center, on-line from a merchant or branch, or from customers via mail in applications.
  • Phone Support
Customer service calls can be supported by Equifax at our call center. Your guidelines and policies will be followed. Your customers need not be aware that a third party is providing this service for you.
  • Reconciliation / Settlement
Our staff can ensure that debits, refunds, charges etc. are appropriately applied to accounts. Accounts will be checked to ensure they all balance and that all interest and finance charges have been applied correctly.
  • Authorizations
Your parameters will be used to determine which authorizations are approved, declined or referred. Referrals will use a more detailed set of rules to determine the outcome of the authorization. Ensuring that transactions are authorized as appropriate
  • Collections
Equifax will manage delinquent and overlimit accounts according to your policies and guidelines.
  • Payment Processing Equifax can manage all or a portion of the payment processing cycle, including managing customer payments to accounts and subsequent credits to clients.
  • Output Files
Generating output files to third parties you designate. These files will include system data formatted to your specifications, depending on the file's recipient.
