Equifax and Mcgraw-Hill/London House Partner To Increase Product Offerings
Consumers Win With One-Stop Shopping
ATLANTA, OCTOBER 14, 1996 - Equifax Employment Services, the largest pre-employment screening company in the United States, today announced a national strategic partnership with McGraw-Hill/London House designed to simplify the hiring assessment process for corporate America.
Equifax will begin offering McGraw-Hill/London House’s Personnel Selection Inventory (PSI) - 3T assessments as part of its services to employers while McGraw-Hill/London House, the industry leader in human resource assessments, will begin offering Equifax’s pre-employment background checks as part of its services.

McGraw-Hill/London House and Equifax are ensuring customers will do just that by offering them access to each company’s products at the same time. It’s a total solution."
McGraw-Hill/London House PSI-3T measures the likelihood an individual will leave an organization prematurely; commit theft; use or sell drugs on the job or have a propensity for violent or argumentative behavior. The assessment also indicates if an applicant is trying to present socially desirable responses instead of actual attitudes/opinions and it measures the degree to which an applicant understood and completed the questions. Versions of the assessment are available to comply with existing state pre-employment laws.
Equifax employment components that will be offered include credit histories for employment purposes, employer checks, educational verification, criminal history checks, Social Security verification and motor vehicle records.
