EQUIFAX DECLARES DIVIDEND


ATLANTA, July 29, 1998 -- Directors of Equifax Inc. today declared a regular quarterly dividend of 8.75 cents per share, payable on September 15, 1998 to shareholders of record August 25, 1998.

Equifax Inc. has paid cash dividends for 85 consecutive years and has increased dividends 17 of the last 18 years.
