ATLANTA, December 21, 1998 -- Equifax today announced that Check Services will expand to a third call center located in Equifax's existing facility in Middleton, Wisconsin. The formation of a third call center will enable Equifax to accommodate its growing business while continuing to provide exceptional service during the peak holiday season. The new check services call center will create job opportunities for more than 250 Madison area residents.

"When considering our expansion opportunities, we were looking for quality office space and a qualified labor market. Our Equifax Card Solutions office building in Madison offered both," said Jeff Carbiener, Equifax Check Services senior vice president. "More than 125 employees have already been hired for the Madison call center and we expect to more than double that number over the next few weeks. The Madison center provides additional capacity during the peak holiday season and will help us continue to provide quality service to our customers at this very important time of the year."
