Equifax Card Solutions Selected By Asianbank In Philippines
Flagship UNIX Installation in Manila
ATLANTA and MANILA, August 27, 1997 --
Equifax today announced that AsianBank, one of the Philippines' leading financial institutions, has selected Equifax Card Solutions to provide the computer software to upgrade its credit card processing systems.
AsianBank will license Equifax FBS Software for its UNIX card processing system. By first quarter, 1998, when the installation is complete, Asian Bank will be able to offer its revolving credit customers greatly enhanced service and an array of credit card products. Financial terms of the new license agreement were not disclosed.
Larry Towe, senior vice president and general manager, Equifax Card Solutions, said, "Equifax expansion into the Philippines fits our global strategy for the Asia/Pacific region. We look forward to serving AsianBank in Manila as our first of many customers in the Philippines."
Equifax's credit information and innovative decision solutions products will also be available to Philippine customers.
