A college degree BA/BS in Computer Science or related field and familiarity with SQL, C++, Oracle and UNIX programming a must. Semonstrated project management skills across several functional areas including statistics, marketing, MIS and finance a big plus. The duties for this position include: Converting client requests into programming specifications Auditing programming and output by reviewing programming code Responsible for custom coding audit procedures and reports that ensure output consistent with required parameters Coordinating programming efforts related to concurrent tasks to ensure throughput is consistent with required parameters. Equifax, a $1.5 billion global leader, is seeking four (4) Chicago-based professionals for leading-edge development of relational database architecture including modeling and design, data mining and transformation, and technical proposal development. Requires 5-10 years of RDB architecture, design and performance optimization experience with one of the UDB products (Oracle 7.x of 8, Teradata and/or DB2/PE). Also requires MPP architecture, SMP platforms, advanced SQL, C, and C++. |
